Home remedies for Pimples

Pimples are nothing but a swelling on the skin, which is filled with pus and bacteria. It normally occurs on face, neck and back. Excess sebum secretion by the oil glands of the skin is the primary cause behind this problem. Although this is not the major problem, but it can make someone unattractive. There are many ways to get rid of pimples.

Several products are available in the market for pimple treatment, but it is advisable to go through with natural home remedies because they come with without any side effects and are extremely pocket friendly. Here is a list of natural home remedies to get rid of pimples:-

Sugar Scrub
Sugar scrub is one of the easiest methods to make your skin glowing and pimple free. It helps you to achieve brighter skin tone due to its exfoliating agent feature.
Take three tablespoons of sugar, one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of milk powder. Mix them together. Apply this mixture onto your face and scrub gently. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off with plenty of water.

Baking soda
Baking soda is a great option to clear up blemishes. It’s cheap, natural and does not contain any harmful chemicals. Baking soda helps someone to reduce inflammation and clear up the skin marks from face and body.
Add one tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of water. Mix this mixture. Apply it on pimple marks. You should not take this paste on your skin more than 5 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.

Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin A and Lycopene, that helps in healing the skin and by facilitating the quick growth of the skin cells while removing the scars.
Take a fresh tomato and apply the tomato pulp on your skin. Leave it for twenty minutes and then rinse it off with plenty of water.
You can also add avocados or cucumber in it. Mix either avocados or cucumbers in tomato pulp. Apply this mixture as a face mask. Leave it for half an hour and wash it off with water.

Lemon juice
Lemon juice another quick way to get rid of pimples. It is an astringent cause a contraction of body tissues and help to dry out the blemishes itself. Although, it’s a critic acid that help to exfoliate the skin and rich in vitamin C which is good for all types of skin as well.
Use a clean, sterile cotton swab, dip it into fresh lemon juice and apply it on your pimples before going to bed. In the morning, wash it well with lukewarm water.

Garlic is appreciated for its good taste and medical advantages. It’s solid antibacterial and cell reinforcement property makes garlic good natural home remedy for pimples.
Mash up 2-3 cloves of garlic and sit it into the water for 10 minutes or either extract, garlic juice and add it into the water. Using a cotton pad, soak up with the juice and apply it on your pimple.

Ice cubes
Pimples that are not yet fully infected, ice can be utilized to diminish swelling and to reduce the redness. Ice helps in improving the blood circulation the affected area and removing dirt.
Wrap an ice cube in a piece of cloth. Hold it on the affected skin area for a few seconds. Wait for some minutes and repeat this process.

Toothpaste is an extraordinary pimple treatment. It is imperative to note that white glue must be utilized instead of gel toothpaste.
Apply some white toothpaste over the affected area overnight, washing it with cool water early in the morning. You will see significant improvement in the swelling.
You can also use toothpaste in daytime. Just make sure that toothpaste remains on the pimples for at least one hour.
